The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is reportedly to hold on to its previous 108MP sensor, though a better one, and the end results are pretty good anyway. The South Korean giant had expressed its wish previously to develop a 600 Mega Pixel camera sensor that goes far away from the human eye. The current version of the camera sensors in note 20 ultra and s20 ultra are apparently too bulky and it could be a while before a commercial unit of 600 Megapixel camera sensor is announced. Before that, we will likely see a 200 megapixel camera unit.
That is according to insider Ice Universe who stated that Samsung plans to launch many new camera sensors this year, and the first of which would be a 200 mega pixel camera unit. The leaker seems to suggest that the Samsung 200 MP camera phone sensor is right around the corner, which means we will see it in action in samsung’s 200 MP mobile very soon. No other details were provided. Just imagine the 200 megapixel mobile phone, it will be great to experience.
Back in March 2020, it was said that Samsung would release a 1-inch 150 Mega Pixel sensor in the fourth quarter of 2020 but that didn’t work out. A little later we heard a rumor about a 250 megapixel sensor. According to that report, the 250 Mega pixel unit will be a little bigger than Samsung’s 1 by 1.72-inches 64MP sensor and 1 by 1.33-inches 108MP unit.
