Admissions Process
The admissions process begins by completing a brief form on the school’s website. You are then sent an email with information about the next steps, including a link to the scholarship application. If you’re not automatically granted admission based on your grades, GMAT score, or TOEFL score, you can submit an essay to request consideration for exceptional admission. In addition to submitting their essays, applicants must also provide transcripts from all colleges attended, two letters of recommendation, and proof that they have read at least one book from UM&T’s course list.
There is a fee to apply. For international students, there is a $150 application fee plus other costs (e.g., insurance). Applicants who receive an interview invitation are asked to purchase travel insurance through either EF College Break or IMG Travel Services. However, if they do not receive an interview invitation within six weeks of applying and paying the $150 enrollment deposit, they will be refunded this deposit. Applicants who receive scholarships may need to make additional arrangements (e.g., supplemental forms) in order to accept them but there is no additional cost involved in receiving these scholarships other than what was already incurred during the admissions process
Cost Structure
University tuition is quoted as tuition, room, and board and does not include books, personal expenses, transportation or other school-related fees. The university estimates a cost of $5,000 per semester for students from the U.S., Canada or Latin America. Students from Europe are estimated at $6,000 per semester; Asia at $7,500; Africa at $8,500; Middle East at $9,500; India at $10,800. For international students with a scholarship, tuition ranges from approximately $4,700 to $13,400 depending on academic major. In addition to the published tuition rates mentioned above, there may be additional charges related to the length of stay and/or country in which an international student will study (which may vary by region). Additionally, some scholarships might have different criteria and conditions that apply to them.
